Route : Da Nang - Hue
Day 1: Danang - Arrival – My Son Holly Land - Hoi An (L, D)
Early morning pick-up at Da Nang Airport. Drive to visit Holly Land My Son – The Lost City - Wolrd Cultural Heritage. Then transfer to Hoi An. Upon arrival, have lunch at a local restaurant, then take a walk around Hoi An ancient town – another World Cultural Heritage recognized by UNESCO in 1999, visit famous Japanese Bridge which was built by Japanese in the early 15th century. Have dinner with Hoi An specialities. Overnight in ancient Hoi An will be a very interesting experience as you can wander around and enjoy as much as you can in antique coffee shops and popular food stands.
Day 2: Hoi An – Kim Bong Cycling – Thanh Ha Village – Tra Que Village (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Take a boat cruise to Kim Bong village where we visit a ship building yard and walk through the village with stops at old colonial houses, temples and local cottage factories. Cruise to Thanh Ha pottery village and visit a traditional ceramic workshop. Visitors have a chance to “get their hands dirty” when making their own creations.
In the afternoon we will drive to Tra Que village to discover the traditional gardening methods, join the farmers in the fields, try some local dishes and indulge in a relaxing foot soak using a homegrown herbal remedy. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 3: Hoi An – Hue (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Hue through magnificient Hai Van pass. Have lunch at a local restaurant in Hue. Start exploring historic Hue with Imperial Citadel, an ancient citadel recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage. The citadel was the imperial capital from 1802-1945 for the Nguyen Dynasty. We will also tour the Forbidden Purple City inside the Citadel. Have royal dinner with Hue special cuisine while enjoying Hue traditional music – also World Cultural Heritage. Overnight in Hue.
Day 4: Thien Mu Pagoda – Minh Mang Tomb – Y Thao Garden House – Cooking Class (B, L, D)
This morning we will be cruising on board to visit Thien Mu pagoda, afterwards drive to Tomb of King Minh Mang.
In the afternoon transfer to Y Thao Garden House (max 6 pax) for an extremely interesting cooking class. Dinner is a chance for us to sit down to savour our own products and enjoy the silence of the night garden. For group over 6 pax, we better organize the cooking class in Tha Om Garden House. The owner of Tha Om is one of the descendants of King Minh Mang, and she will help us reveal the secrets in cooking traditional royal cuisines Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue – Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel, free for shopping until departure time. End of services.
