Day 1 : Arrival Hanoi (D)
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to hotel. The rest of the morning is free for rest or to begin exploring the city. In the afternoon, take a one-hour cyclo ride through the bustling Old Quarter to enjoy the Hanoi’s beautiful late-afternoon colors and to visit a traditional Vietnamese “long house”. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 : Hanoi – Sightseeing – Bac Ninh – Hanoi (B/L/D)
After breakfast visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s former home and One Pillar Pagoda followed by the Temple of Literature and Hoan Kiem Lake. Afternoon drive to Bac Ninh, the cradle of traditional Vietnamese music and theatre. On arrival take a horse-drawn cart through country lanes to visit Kim Dai temple, Dinh Bang communal house and Do temple. Enjoy Bac Ninh folk songs – new Wolrd Culture Heritage of Vietnam before visiting Dong Ho painting village. Return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3 : Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)
Drive the 170km to Vietnam’s most spectacular natural wonder, Ha Long Bay. Board a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay. Drop anchor for the night near a remote island. Overnight on Junk.

Day 4 : Ha Long Bay – Boat Cruise – Ninh Binh (B/L/D)
Rising to the sound of ocean coming to life for another lovely day. We will enjoy breakfast over sunrise. Then get off board and proceed to Ninh Binh in late afternoon, stopping en route at Capital Hoa Lu to visit temples of two Kings: Dinh and Le. Walking up and down the countryside and enjoy the marvelous scenery of the ancient capital. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 5 : Ninh Binh – Sightseeing – Hanoi-Lao Cai (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, we’ll visit Tam Coc (Three Caves) by cruising on a small boat, you will find yourself lost in the imposing scene of sky, cloud, mountain and water, then make a short cycling tour  along the quiet green fields to Thai Vi Temple.  Get on couch to visit Bich Dong. In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi. Upon arrival, have dinner and get on the night train for transferring to Lao Cai.

Day 6 : Lao Cai – Sapa trekking – Ta Phin homestay (B/L/D)     
When you arrive in Sapa you will be taken to a local restaurant for a morning shower & breakfast. We will then take short ride from Sapa to our trekking base where we start our trek up and down hills (~ 5 - 6 hrs) through terraced rice fields, bamboo ranges and many minority villages. Lunch break before we keep hitting the road to Ta Phin village. Our Dao host family will welcome you to their traditional home where we will share in an ethnic style dinner and stay the night.

Day 7 : Ta Phin – Sapa shopping – Ha Noi (B/L/D)     
At the first gleam of daylight, you will see and hear the sounds of morning village life. You can join your host family in some of their activities like feeding the animals, cleaning the houses, gardening or preparing breakfast. After breakfast, we could take a short morning wander around the village or resulting in more time spent with the host family. You will be then supported by our car / van back to Sapa (30 minutes). When we arrive back in Sapa, we’ll go for lunch. After lunch, it’s your free time to explore the beauty of Sapa. In the late afternoon, we will get on train for a night transfer to Hanoi.

Day 8 : Ha Noi – Hue  (B/L/D)
Upon arriving Hanoi, have breakfast and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Hue. Start exploring historic Hue with Imperial Citadel, an ancient citadel recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage. The citadel was the imperial capital from 1802-1945 for the Nguyen Dynasty. We will also tour the Forbidden Purple City inside the Citadel. We will visit Tomb of King Minh Mang as well. Have dinner with Hue special cuisine enjoying Hue traditional music – also World Cultural Heritage. Overnight in Hue.

Day 9 : Hue – Hoi An (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Hoi An through magnificent Hai Van Pass. Upon arrival, have lunch, take a walk around Hoi An ancient town – another World Cultural Heritage recognized by UNESCO in 1999, visit famous Japanese Bridge which was built by Japanese in the early 15th century. Have dinner with Hoi An specialties. Overnight in Hoi An Ancient town will be a very interesting experience as you can wander around and enjoy as much as you can in antique coffee shops and popular food stands.

Day 10 : Hoi An – My Son – Handicraft villages (B/L/D):
Breakfast at hotel, drive to visit Holly Land My Son – The Lost City - World Cultural Heritage. Turn back to Hoi An, have lunch, then take a boat cruise to Kim Bong village where we visit a ship building yard and walk through the village with stops at old colonial houses, temples and local cottage factories. Cruise to Thanh Ha pottery village and visit a traditional ceramic workshop. Visitors have a chance to “get their hands dirty” making their own creations. Go shopping for unique souvenirs.  Have dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 11 : Hoi An – Da Nang – Nha trang (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Da Nang Airport for the flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival, check in hotel. Free at own leisure. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 12 : Nha Trang - Boat Cruise (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Star our amazing tour with Mun Island where you can have scuba diving or snorkeling to explore the world of coral and underwater plants. Back to Con Se Tre restaurant for having seafood lunch on Bamboo island. Relax & swim on your own time. On the way back to the shore, a short visit to fishing village to see the fresh shrimp, zoo groupers, sea crab raised in floating cages Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 13 : Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Free to shop around for Nha Trang specialities before transfering to Nha Trang Airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Dinner shall be a feast on boat with traditional Vietnamese cuisine while cruising along Saigon river to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Ho Chi Minh City by night. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.  

Day 14 : Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels – Sightseeing (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive to the remarkable Cu Chi tunnels, just outside Ho Chi Minh City. During the war “Viet Cong” guerillas built a labyrinth of narrow tunnels, using them to hide during bombing raids and stage surprise attacks. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon for a half-day city tour. Visit the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 15 : Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, we will proceed ahead to My Tho, the heat of the Mekong delta, famous for its vast rice fields and beautiful landscapes.. We then embark for a lovely boat trip on Mekong river to Thoi Son Island where local handicrafts and sweets from coconut are being produced. Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits and traditional live music of Mekong Delta. Visit a typical local house to taste home-made honey tea. Take a cruise along the canals by small sampan boats, then take a short excursion to Vinh Trang pagoda.  which structure is a mixture of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Angkor (Cambodian) architectural styles. The pagoda consists of 5 buildings, 2 ornamental yards, and 178 pillars. Have lunch at a local restaurant with specialities of Mekong Delta. Return to Sai Gon, visit ancient Chinatown, Thien Hau pagoda. Have dinner. Enjoy famous water puppet show. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 16 : Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel. The morning is free for shopping before transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.
